Refund policy

Products purchased remotely can be returned according to Government Ordinance No. 34/2014 to the registered office of Medexpert SRL, located at Str. Leliceni nr. 47, Miercurea Ciuc. The consumer has the right to notify the seller in writing that they wish to cancel the purchase, without penalties and without providing a reason, within 2-3 days of receiving the product. Any alteration to the condition of the products or damage to their original packaging that makes it impossible to sell the product as new will automatically result in a return procedure subject to administrative fees for restoring the products to the condition in which they were delivered. The fees range between 0 and 50% of the initial product value. The amount of the administrative fee will be communicated to the customer upon receipt of the damaged/altered products, or if the product can no longer be sold, it will be returned to the customer. The return cost is borne by the buyer.

Warranty terms
The warranty period according to Laws 449/2003 and 0621/1982, as amended by 0621/1982(s) Article 13, varies depending on the type of medical device: 6 months for orthoses, 12 months for walking sticks, frames and crutches, wheelchairs, and 2 years for breast prostheses. The warranty is extended by the period necessary for repairs. Warranty claims are resolved within a maximum of 15 calendar days. The warranty period starts from the moment the products are delivered, according to the date mentioned on the invoice or the handover protocol. The warranty is void if any of the following conditions are not met:

• The beneficiary does not comply with the conditions of transport, handling, use, and maintenance specified in the User Instructions and the Warranty Certificate, which the beneficiary has acknowledged and received from the supplier.
• The specialists of the company or the service provider determine that the defect is due to the beneficiary's fault (improper use, maintenance).
• The product is entrusted for repair to unauthorized persons/companies.
• The product is presented without this warranty certificate or with a warranty certificate that lacks a stamp or has unfilled sections (delivery date, product identification number, seller's signature, beneficiary's signature). The warranty does not apply, in the case of walking aids, to instances of corrosion, wear of rubber and plastic parts, damage or cracking of the cover, and damage to the paint, varnish, chrome, or other finishes due to using the wheelchair on stairs, hitting obstacles, or in an unfavorable external environment.
